Hello fellow readers,

Last week my class (6A) and I made a display in our English Class. The display had to be about what makes Roald Dahl a good storyteller. We got some free space on a wall where we were allowed to paste all of our information on. We straightaway got working. Some people were sharing ideas, which were really good. Though, some people were just wondering around. I was working very hard think up new ideas and helping other people get going. I had to start with typing up a paragraph that Lauren had helped me with. Some people were being leaders, which was good because there has to be some one in charge, some leaders, however, got carried away and didn’t do much work themselves. As a class I think we did a pretty good job. Our final display was very creative and had a lot of information that we had quickly put together, because we only had a double period to finish everything. I’ve heard from the other classes about their ideas, they all seem very nice though I still really like ours. In the end I do not think that we answered the question properly, but we did have some information on why RD was a good writer. Anyways, on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent, I would say that in total we were an 8.5.

When we were working we were all just running around and giving people orders, asking for help and helping out each other, as a team I think we did excellent. I personally liked working in a group as a class; I think the assignment was exciting though a bit hard at times.

Overall, I think the teamwork was very good, we all tried to agree. The display was very creative, like Roald Dahl is, which worked. I did not like how some people got carried away too much though because they wanted it their way.
